Understand your product. Not what you are selling. But rather, understand what the consumer is buying.
How much care do you put into your store front? Do you keep it clean? Easily accessible? Beautiful and clean of liter? This is how you should think of your website. The home page is the store front. If its visually appealing it’ll draw people in and them check out your products.
Without a sales person to talk to your customer online, your website has to sell you and your products. Is your current site able to be friendly and useful like your sales team?
If your website isn’t as appealing as your store front or as helpful as your sales team, then you don’t have an effective website. Your website should be able to interest your customers to make a purchase, provide information and have your customer walk in to the store.
A website should make you, your company and your products appealing and interesting. And it should be able to affect your business and revenue in a positive manner.
